Since 1887, the Murdick family has been making premium candy in Mackinaw City, Michigan. Today, fourth-generation candy maker John Murdick and fifth-generation candy maker Aaron Murdick continue the family tradition using the same recipes and candy-making techniques passed down for more than 138 years.
Every batch is cooked in traditional copper kettles and carefully poured and stretched by hand to create the light, crisp texture that has made Murdick’s Famous Buttery Peanut Brittle a Northern Michigan tradition.
