For more than 138 years, the Murdick family has handcrafted fudge using time-honored recipes and traditional candy-making techniques. Every batch begins with fresh cream, real butter, and the finest 100% pure Belgian chocolate.
Our candy makers carefully cook each batch in traditional copper kettles before pouring the warm fudge onto marble cooling slabs. Working the fudge by hand creates the smooth, creamy texture and rich flavor that has made Murdick’s Famous Fudge a Northern Michigan tradition for generations.
Today, fourth-generation candy maker John Murdick and fifth-generation candy maker Aaron Murdick proudly continue the family tradition in Mackinaw City, preparing every batch with the same attention to quality that began in 1887.
